Green Mountain Montessori School is a nonprofit in the Essex town center, in a restored 1820s farmhouse, with a Preschool and Kindergarten program serving children ages three to six. We are hiring a full-time classroom teacher, after school staff, and substitutes.

The classroom teacher works in a mixed-age setting, planning lessons, observing children, assessing play, and talking with families in writing and in person. The after school role is fifteen hours a week, Monday through Friday. Pay is dependent upon qualifications and experience, and the full-time classroom position is benefited.
